Boston-raised, LA-based rapper, producer and singer-songwriter Caye dropped the video for his debut hit “Easy” featuring Wiz Khalifa. The summer-tinged, break-out track from Caye is swiftly climbing radio charts and has entered the Top 40 at Rhythmic radio. Fans can catch Caye live at Boston’s 94.5 Summer Jam, alongside Post Malone and Wale on August 2 and in Oahu at 93.9 The Beat’s Summer BBQ on August 18. Caye’s debut record, Pink Tree Paradise is out now and was written by Caye and co-writer DAWGUS, who also produced the record.
“The video for ‘Easy’ really captures and displays the meaning of the song,” says Caye. “It’s about that feeling you get when you’re so infatuated by one person, that you are blind to everyone else. It’s simple but relatable.” Caye also stated to LA Weekly, “Being around Wiz for the video shoot, as well as in the studio, was such a good time and I always learn so much from being around him.”
“Easy” featuring Wiz Khalifa, has surpassed 1 million streams and continues to grow. Caye previously released the acoustic version of “Easy” via Ones to Watch and “Pink Tree (Intro)” via DuJour.
