Critically acclaimed Washington, D.C. rapper Chaz French releases his new single “Can’t Stop Us” at all digital retailers via Motown Records. The song recently soundtracked the new trailer for Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse—which ignited 25 million-plus views in less than three weeks.
“Can’t Stop Us” illuminates the dynamics and diversity at the heart of Chaz’s signature sound. Piano simmers in the background as a horn section pipes up in the foreground. Over this boisterous musical palette, he raps with flavor and finesse, delivering admissions like “I love my wrongs, and I neglect my rights, but I turned all my doubts into dollar signs” before the final declaration, “We comin’ for the top who gonna stop us now?” The single also precedes the arrival of brand new music coming very soon from the artist.
