Comedian Charlie Murphy Dead After His Battle With Leukemia

Comedian, Charlie Murphy died this morning in a New York Hospital following his battle with leukemia.

Before fame, Charlie Murphy served in the U.S. Navy after graduating from high school. He worked as Eddie Murphy’s bodyguard. Later, he and Eddie wrote for movies including “Norbit” and “Vampire in Brooklyn”. He made numerous appearances on the “Chappelle’s Show”. He also starred in movies like “Are We There Yet?”, “The Boondocks” and “Power”.

The comedian’s family including Charlie’s younger brother Eddie Murphy were reportedly shocked at the news of his death because. The family and friends were reportedly under the impression that he was recovering as he was undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
