Dave East, Dreezy & Anthony Anderson to Star In New Netflix Movie “Beats”- Details Here!

Dave East and Dreezy are about to debut their acting skills alongside Anthony Anderson, Uzo Aduba and 17 year old Chicago native Khalil Everage in Netflix’s upcoming movie “Beats.” The film which is about Chicago’s Hip Hop scene is directed by Chris Robinson (ATL, BET’s The New Edition Story).

According to the movie’s synopsis – “In this urban coming of age drama, the paths of a young musical prodigy (Everage) with borderline agoraphobia, and a former music manager (Anderson) who fell from grace, collide on Chicago’s South Side, and the unlikely duo must come together to free each other from the demons of their past,” a Netflix press release reads. “Beats is the ultimate ode to Chicago and its Hip Hop scene, as it illustrates the beating pulse at the heart of the South Side.”

Beats is scheduled to be released in 2019. It’s trailer is not yet available but we’ll keep you posted. Check out the post from Dreezy below about the film.
