Ella Mai Sets New R&B/Hip-Hop Radio Charts Record – Details Here!
Ella Mai is climbing both the music sales and radio charts and setting records as her fan base continues to grow. Her latest single “Boo’d Up” is currently #1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart making her the first woman to top the chart in 2018. Prior to Ella, Cardi B held the #1 spot for a woman with her single “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” in 2017. “Boo’d Up” is also #1 on both the Adult R&B Songs chart and the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
With “Boo’d Up” at #1 on all three charts, Ella Mai has become the first woman to top three R&B/Hip-Hop Radio charts since Beyonce did it in 2012 with “Love on Top.” Congrats are in order for Ella Mai!
