Facebook like almost everyone else has had it with the entire R. Kelly scandal. Therefore the big wigs at Facebook took it upon themselves to delete a page believed to have been set up by R. Kelly’s team for the purpose of discrediting his accusers. The “Surviving Lies” page reportedly began to post personal information and other allegations about some of the people who appeared in the Lifetime documentary series, Surviving R. Kelly.

After deleting the page, Facebook released the following statement supporting their decision, “The Page violated our Community Standards and has been removed. We do not tolerate bullying or sharing someone’s private contact information and take action on content that violates our policies as soon as we’re aware.”

Stay tuned for any updates on the ongoing saga.
