First Look at Batwoman – Details Here!

The CW and Warner Bros. big wigs have unveiled a first look image of their next superhero, Batwoman. The superhero is played by lesbian and former Orange Is the New Black star, Ruby Rose. The film is currently in production and the new Batwoman superhero costume was designed by award-winning designer Colleen Atwood. The new Batwoman will be characterized as a lesbian superhero. Batwoman’s first appearance is scheduled for December 9th at the DC crossover event, with Arrow-verse mastermind Greg Berlanti.

Caroline Dries (The Vampire Diaries) is penning the script of Kate Kane, armed with a passion for social justice and flair for speaking her mind, soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.
