Following Joey Bada$$’s announcement of the launch of his new label BADMIND Records yesterday, Brooklyn-based rapper N.A.O. Quelly shares a new single “Mo Betta.” The new single serves as the first offering of music from the newly-formed label and offers an introduction to their inaugural signee.

“Mo Betta,” produced by Pro Era’s Powers Pleasant, showcases N.A.O. Quelly’s frenetic energy and unique sound, illustrating why he’s staking out his own lane in the crowded landscape of New York hip-hop and caught the eye of Joey Bada$$. Similarly rising out of the fray of underground hip- hop years ago, Joey has risen to prominence not just in New York, but globally, as a defining voice for the genre. Now, Joey is using his platform and his newly-established label to give burgeoning artists like N.A.O. Quelly an opportunity to do the same, with his debut project Myk’Quel set to be released soon via BADMIND records.

Hear “Mo Betta” above and stay tuned for more from N.A.O. Quelly coming soon.
