With a smooth jamming riff and a sorna-esque horn atop of low-slung vintage hip-hop vibes, KIDDO x Gashi’s ‘Coming Down’ is the result of a creative fusion between two of the hottest pop-newcomers of today. Joined in collaboration, the songs narrative gives the fictional tail of a brief encounter in the sunshine state of Florida, which both KIDDO and GASHI flawlessly portray by holding nothing back in expressing the synergy felt in that short moment.
Brooklyn-based Gashi, a constantly rising name in hip-hop, has worked with French Montana and the late, great Nipsey Hussle, as well as making his TV debut recently on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon performing his collab w/ G-Eazy and on tour with Playboi Carti. KIDDO, a super fresh Swedish pop artist, has already written tracks for Icona Pop, as well as working with Tove Lo in the studio co-writing and John Newman. The track brings together pop and R&B for a sultry and slick spring anthem that you can check out below.
