Multi-talented singer/songwriter/producer K’ron connected with the king of guest features, Ty Dolla Sign, earlier this summer for a silky cut called “No BFs” (prod: Austin Powers). Now, the pair of collaborators have headed poolside for a Kris Mercado-directed video.

Matching the “romantic savage” description K’ron likes to give his own persona and music, “No BFs” pairs hard-hitting drums with smooth R&B vocals from both artists for an evolving, shape-shifting aesthetic. After his 2014 release “Round of Applause” earned viral success and over 15 million total plays, the DMV native took a step back and focused on writing work with artists like Omarion, Diggy Simmons, and ELHAE. Gearing up to release his debut mixtape later this summer, “No BFs” represents an exciting return for K’ron.
