Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V debuts at no. 1 on Billboard – Details Here!
It appears that the release of Tha Carter V was well worth the wait for fans as well as for Lil Wayne. Fans have been downloading and streaming the album at a record rate since it dropped and a week later as expected, Tha Carter V debuts at no. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album sold 480,000 units in its first week. In addition to its No. 1 status, Tha Carter V, has become Lil Wayne’s forth no. 1 album.
Tha Carter V was also named the second album with the biggest streaming week behind Drake’s Scorpion album. Although, Tha Carter V’s No. 1 debut didn’t surprise anyone, congrats are in order to Lil Wayne for the achievement.
