Artist are worth more dead than alive, sadly, it is one of the best known secrets in the music industry. This concept has been proven true over and over again, perhaps since the beginning of the industry in relations to music sales and the first artist that died. The same has been true in the case of Mac Miller. Following his death, his record sales went through the roof which resulted in seven of past albums landing on the Billboard 200 chart.

Mac Miller’s charting albums are as follows, his 2018 album Swimming, which was at #71 driven by sales is now #6, his 2015 album GO:OD AM is #32. His debut album, Blue Slide Park which dropped in 2011 is #49, The Divine Feminine which dropped in 2016 is #50, Watching Movies With the Sound Off which dropped in 2013 is #59. Both his mixtapes Best Day Ever which dropped in 2011 and Macadelic which dropped in 2012 are #26 and #106 on the charts.
