Actor/comedian Marlon Wayans ended his Atlanta press tour yesterday with a visit to Clark-Atlanta University. The A Haunted House 2 star attended a Meet & Greet and autograph-signing that drew a crowd of over 400 students. The event was hosted by student Ta’Kaiya Jackson, who gave away screening tickets, screened the movie trailer, and led the audience in a Wayans trivia game.
Upon his arrival, the students went into a social media frenzy. Marlon opened his remarks by letting the students know how honored he was to be in the room, and followed up with a joke about being denied acceptance into the university. Student comedian Terrance White surprised Marlon with a brief stand-up routine, which was followed by an hour of autographs. Before leaving campus, Marlon conducted interviews with campus media outlets WSTU, WCLK, CAU-TV and the CAU Panther.
