Meek Mill has had some special people visit him since his incarceration but getting a visit from Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Philadelphia 76ers owner Michael Rubin was really special. The two gentlemen went to visit Meek, who we hear is in good spirit and is a fighter, at the State Correctional Institution-Chester. Meek was reportedly very happy to see Mr. Kraft and Mr. Rubin. Even if you don’t know Meek Mill, you would have to imagine that he would have to be a genuinely good person for these men to take time out of their schedules to go and visit him.
Before and after the men’s visit to the facility, they had nothing but praises for Meek. Mr. Kraft stated, “He’s an amazing young man. I know how I’d feel if I were in the situation he is. He’s very intelligent.” He continued, “Makes it clear to me we have to do something with criminal justice reform.”
Mr. Rubin, who had in the past encouraged 76ers players to go and visit Meek Mill added, “Meek is one of my closet friends.” Meek’s bail appeal case is now awaiting a hearing at the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. #FreeMeekMill
