The power of thought and action has been said by some of the greatest philosophers in the world to be the cause of manifest destiny. That moment when your dreams, aspirations and pretend play begins to become your reality, is what Meghan Markle is currently experiencing. A video of an 8 year old Meghan Markle was just released in which she wore a gold crown and pretended she was a Queen. The video was recorded at her childhood friend Ninaki Priddy‘s 9th birthday party held in Ninaki family’s backyard in LA. In the background of the video, Meghan’s friends could be heard repeatedly calling her “your highness.”
During the party, Meghan pretended to be the Queen and her other friends pretended to be princesses and servants to the Queen in a play the kids called Your Royal Highness. Ninaki Priddy told the Daily Mail. “It’s very funny to see this now and given what is going on with her life it’s quite eye-opening. She was always the center of attention, always the ringleader – it was my birthday but she took the starring role!”
Meghan Markle’s childhood play and dreams of marrying a Prince will be realized on May 19 at Windsor Castle, when her and Prince Harry will officially be named Husband and Wife. She’s certainly got the royal bounce in her step and the royal wave down pat.
