Michael B. Jordan is gearing up for his new HBO movie Fahrenheit 451 to drop. The movie is an adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s futuristic novel, Fahrenheit 451, published in 1953.
Fahrenheit 451 takes place in a terrifying care-free future America where books have been outlawed, and it’s the job of “firemen” to burn any books they discover. The story is told through the eyes of firefighter Guy Montag, played by Michael B. Jordan. In the film, Guy not only is responsible for burning books, but also shutting down the people resisting the anti-knowledge government by uploading books to the Internet. Guy begins to question his actions after meeting a young girl and begins to rebel against society.
Fahrenheit 451 is scheduled air in this spring on HBO. Its official release date is not yet set.
