More than 70 People Overdose In Connecticut Park Yesterday – Details Here!
Seventy plus people overdosing anywhere on the same day in America is unfathomable on its own. But when it is revealed that the overdoses all seventy plus occurred on the same day, in the same park and in the same city, then we have a dangerously serious problem which needs to be addressed. All of the overdoses took place in New Haven, Connecticut, and in a park called New Haven Green.
According to the town’s Fire Chief John Alston Jr., who helped coordinate the responses, more than 70 people were believed to have overdosed on some form of K2, a synthetic marijuana. 72 people were transported to the hospital from the park and four people who were resuscitated at the park refused being taken to the hospital. Luckily and perhaps miraculously, there hasn’t been any deaths reported due to the overdoses. Officials in New Haven have reportedly arrested one person suspected of selling the K2 drug that fueled the overdoses.
There are no reported overdoses so far today.
