Nicki Minaj Won’t Press Charges Against Cardi B – Details Here!
We’re not sure how the fight or should I say shoe throwing incident between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, lead to the potential of filing charges by either artist. But that was the case. In a report, TMZ stated that Nicki Minaj has opted out of filing a police report against Cardi B for throwing her shoe at her.
Turns out that the actual fight was between Nicki Minaj’s friend Rah Ali and Cardi B, in which Cardi ended up with a huge lump over her eye. The word is that the lump came after a security guard elbowed her while trying to break up the fight. After, the fight Cardi took to social media to let fans know what led up to that moment from her own perspective. In the post targeting Nicki Minaj, Cardi states “I’ve let a lot shit slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, fuck up the way I eat! You’ve threaten other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop fuckin with them!! I let you talk big shit about me!! I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are fuckin off!! I’ve worked to hard and come too far to let anybody fuck with my success!!!!”
At this point we can only hope this entire incident be toned down and be fought in the studio over music that we can all enjoy. Violence only begets violence, and in most cases once the door to violence is opened it can only escalate.
