Pandora to Honor Four Ground Breaking Artists – Lil Wayne, Monica, Mary J. Blige, Nipsey Hussle – during Black Music Month
For Black Music Month, Pandora is honoring three African American artists who all breathe the rarified air of the Billion Spins Club – Lil Wayne, Monica, Mary J. Bligeand one who we lost way to soon, Nipsey Hussle. Each artist has hand-curated a brand new Black Music Month Playlist.  The curators at Pandora pulled together a very special Nipsey Hussle playlist to honor the artist who was tragically murdered earlier this year.
Each week in the month of June, a different artist will be featured.  Lil Wayne kicks things off this week with his curated Black Music Month playlist which can be accessed on Pandora HERE. Weezy’s playlist is a homage to classic R&B and Reggae artists, along with some of his top performing tracks
The schedule for the rest of the month is:
June 11 – MonicaJune 18 – Mary J. BligeJune 25 – Nipsey Hussle
Lil Wayne, Monica and Mary will each be presented with a Pandora Billions Plaque during Black Music Month, acknowledging that they have had more than a Billion streams on the country’s biggest streaming service.
