Prince Charles is Confirmed to Walk Meghan Markle Down The Aisle + Video of 8 Year Old Meghan Playing Queen Here!
Its been confirmed that Prince Charles will step in for Thomas Markle and walk his daughter Meghan Markle aka America’s Princess down the aisle for her wedding tomorrow to Prince Harry. The ceremony which will be televised will take place at St George’s Chapel. Meghan’s dad is unable to attend her wedding reportedly due to poor health. Although that is the only sad part of this entire momentous time she’s experience, and although no one can truly replace a dad, she does have a Prince walking her down the aisle to marry his son who is also a Prince.
A statement released states that Meghan asked the Prince of Wales (Prince Charles) to accompany her on Saturday. “The Prince of Wales is pleased to be able to welcome Ms. Markle to the royal family in this way,” it said.
Meghan’s mom, Roria Ragland who was introduced to the Queen over tea this afternoon, will accompany her on the ride to the ceremony in the bridal car. Ms. Ragland was reportedly prepped in formal decorum to meet the Queen and other family members by former England rugby captain Mike Tindall, who is married to Princess Anne’s daughter Zara. Meghan and her mom will spend the night together at the Cliveden House hotel in Taplow. As you can imagine their conversation about the entire experience, from Meghan’s childhood until today and her wedding to a real life Prince tomorrow, to now becoming royalty herself will be absolutely fascinating.
Meghan herself has been preparing for this coming day since she was 8 years old. Check out the video below which was shot in 1990 at her friend’s birthday party. In the video Meghan with a crown on her head is asked by one of her friends, “Your highness, isn’t there anything to do around the kingdom anymore?” “Yes!” Meghan replies. “Make 900,000 cookies and sew me a nice dress.”
