Producer/ Artist RedOne Talks About Music His Debut
The reason I chose to become a producer in the first place was being able to explore the sheer number of ideas and musical styles I had, RedOne says. It enabled me to work with artists in all different genres. I thought that to be a performer, you had to stick to a single sound, and I loved too many kinds of music to do that. But now I find myself wanting to get back to singing and playing, and friends like Enrique have encouraged me to do so. I want to be an artist in a new way, rather than the traditional one. I’m going to do it the RedOne way, which is creating different sounds with different people, doing the records I want to do.
A multi-platinum-selling producer for two decades, RedOne has enlisted some of his celebrity friends to be featured in an unofficial music video for his debut single Don’t You Need Somebody ft. Enrique Iglesias, R. City, Serayah & Shaggy. Check out the teaser clip below:
