“Hangover” is only the beginning for PSY as it teases a soon to be released lead single off of his upcoming EP due out later this year.
Recently, he reached another plateau. His breakthrough smash “Gangnam Style”became the first video to ever cross the 2-billion view mark on YouTube. In 2012, it broke the Guinness World Record for “most-viewed” and “most-liked” video on the site, while becoming the first viral video ever to reach 1 billion views a year later. Meanwhile,“Gentleman” holds the record for “most views” over a 24-hour period, drumming up 38 million in less than a day. 2013 also saw PSY garner six number ones in Billboard’s year-end roundup—#1 Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs Artist, #1 Rap Streaming Songs Artist, and #1 World Digital Songs Artist. Gangnam Style also achieved #1 Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs Title, #1 Rap Streaming Songs Title, and #1 World Digital Songs Title.
