Pusha T in an interview with Vanity Fair says “it’s all over with” and he’s ready to move on from the Drake feud. The new rounds of battle between Drake and Pusha was set off when Pusha’s album Daytona dropped and the song “Infrared” was released. Drake followed up with the release ofhis battle song “Duppy Freestyle”, which was crazy. Then Pusha T came back with the release of his lyrical assault on Drake called, “The Story of Adidon.” The song dropped weeks ago and since then Drake has remained quiet.

J. Prince, a mentor to Drake reportedly asked him to not reply to Pusha T. The feud began to seem like an escalation that had the potential to get out of hand because it became so personal. Pusha T has now also decided to put the whole matter to rest and focus on his music. The over-all feud, truth be told, was helpful to Pusha T’s career because it gave younger fans a reason to listen to his music. For older fans it was an affirmation of what they already knew about the lyricist. Pusha’s album Daytona, also continues to enjoy a top ten spot on the Billboard charts. As far as Drake’s side of the matter, some fans are speculating that his career could be over. On the over all matter, the cease fire for now is holding and both artist seem to want to move on with new music.
