R. Kelly’s Former Manager Reportedly Surrenders to Police

R. Kelly’s former manager James Mason has reportedly surrendered to police over an outstanding warrant issued for his arrest. This past July a Henry County, Georgia judge issued a warrant for his arrest for allegedly making terroristic threats to Joycelyn Savage’s family. Joycelyn Savage is reportedly a part of the alleged Kelly “sex cult.” James Mason allegedly sent the threatening texts to Joycelyn’s father Timothy Savage on May 23, 2018. In a police report obtained by The Blast, Mason reportedly said, “I’m gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I’m gonna get you, I’m going to fucking kill you.”

R. Kelly’s current manager Don Russell is also reportedly under investigation for a call he allegedly made to the Savage family after the Surviving R. Kelly documentary aired. Joycelyn parents Timothy and Jonjelyn Savage, were both featured in the Lifetime documentary. Stay tuned as this story develops.
