The 2nd Annual  Diaspora Dialogues International Women Of Power Luncheon took place on  Saturday, March 9th  in Los Angeles. The standing room only star-studded elegant, cultural affair was met with an overwhelming community response which further underscored the intention of Koshie Mills to cross pollinate African women from Africa with African American women in the Diaspora.

Illustrious women of power and inspiration came from  Africa, West Indies, UK, and America to attend. The diversity in the room created a magical environment of inclusion, where women of color from all around the world converged to celebrate sisterhood.  The afternoon was hosted by veteran Actress Wendy Raquel Robinson  (ABC Grand Hotel, The Game)

Five women who are trailblazers and trendsetters from various industries were honored; First Lady Of Sierra Leone,  H.E. Fatima Maada Bio, First Lady of Comedy  Tiffany Haddish, Actress Nomzamo Mbatha, Fashion Maven Actress Ryan Destiny, Cultural Activists  Abrima Erwiah and Rosario Dawson.

The Diaspora Dialogues  is an unmatched platform and space founded and Executive Produced by Koshie Mills, to bridge the gap and connect Africans in the continent with its global descendants in the diaspora. The power of excellence was displayed in the entertainment quality and program. Sounds were curated by female duo DJ’s of Nuit Noir, Mame Adjei and Jessi M’bengue. Outstanding musical performance by Musical Artist and Actress of Fox “Empire”  V. Bozeman further punctuated the culturally fragrant atmosphere.
