The big boss, Rick Ross took to his Instagram page to announce that today marked the 12 anniversary of his debut album ‘Port of Miami.’ The album which dropped to critical acclaim immediately put the artist on the map and signaled to the world that a new star was born. Port of Miami was also, the star’s first certified platinum album. In the Port of Miami album, its clear that Rick Ross was mentally in a different place in life. The hunger for success and more was apparent in the star’s voice, also apparent in that album was the hustler’s knowledge that he was destined for success.
Included in Rick Ross’ post today is his announcement that he is putting the finishing touches on his debut’s album upcoming sequel, Port of Miami 2. Upon its release, Port of Miami 2: Born to Kill will be Ross’ 10th studio album. Ross dropped a single in February called, “Florida Boy,” featuring T-Pain and Kodak Black, which was speculated to be the first single from the upcoming album.
