Safaree Samuels was reportedly robbed buy two gunmen on Monday outside of his home in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Later that morning during an interview with Power 105.1 radio in New York a teary eyed and apparently shaken Safaree said he had just got robbed by two men who ran up on him and put their guns to his head and took everything he had.
The men who alleged robbed Safaree have reportedly been arrested by NYPD after New Jersey Police who after receiving a tip followed the gunmen in a chase across the George Washington Bridge, into New York. The suspects crashed their car in New York according to reports and then jumped out of it and took off on foot but were later arrested by the NYPD. The two men who are now in custody and have been identified by Safaree Samuels as the assailants were identified as Jonathan Ricketts and Shawn Harewood.
