Singer Elle Varner gives Floss Magazine Exclusive Insights on her new Project Ellevation
Fresh off of her exhilarating performance on ABC Network’s Good Morning America on the Fourth of July we catch up with R & B songstress Elle Varner at the 25th New Orleans Essence Festival.  Â
Elle is not only performing at the Essence Festival in the Super Lounge again, she is also promoting the release of her first full length album since her critically acclaimed debut album Perfectly Imperfect in 2012, and she sits down with Floss Magazine.Â
Her new album Ellevation available on July 13th, is nine track of bangers from beginning to end with features from Wale and Rapsody on “Pour Me” and “Wishing Well”. Current single “Kinda Love” is already in heavy rotation on the radio right now.Â
“I’m going to higher places in my life and career and that’s why I named the albumEllevation” Elle tells Floss Magazine. “I want the listener to be inspired and to feel activated after listening to the album.”
Despite the seven year time frame between albums and switching labels from RCA to eOne Music, Elle stayed busy performing all over the country, landed a track on the STARZ hit show POWER,and even scored her first Grammy last year for her work with Chance the Rapper.
Ellevation is currently available on all streaming platforms as well as Amazon, Target, and Walmart stores
