The Game and Tekashi 6ix9ine were no friends of each other. In fact its well documented that they were adversaries. However, it hasn’t prevented The Game from feeling sorry for him and his current predicament. Seeing Tekashi facing life behind bars, The Game has taken the opportunity to try to school new artist on getting their money and staying out of trouble.

Following Tekashi’s not guilty plea to racketeering charges, The Game took to his social media page to issue his heart-felt warning. He posted, “This is sad. This kid ain’t een bout that life but the p*gs will make it look like he was John Gotti on paper n try to make an example out of him. I encourage all new & young artists to just focus on your music family & your money. Trying to be Gangsta for fickle fans ain’t the way.”

The Game’s message is straight forward, heart-felt and coming from a place of experience. The hope is that the new artist and the up and coming artist will take heed to his sentiments.
