Tidal and Prince Estate To Collaborate on Posthumous New Prince Album – Details Here!

Prince’s Estate and Tidal are gearing up to begin putting together a posthumous album for the late legend. In April 2016, legendary Prince signed a deal with Jay-Z intentionally for the purpose of giving his streaming company Tidal an advantage over other streaming empires. In the deal Prince agreed to give Tidal exclusive streaming rights to his music as well as his final two albums. In doing so, the legend six moths before his death began to withdraw all of his music from all streaming outlets.

After his death the managers of Prince’s estate reversed the agreement and his songs were once again available on the multitude of platforms. However, Jay being the consummate fighter and strategist has found a way as always to make big things happen. The mogul has announced that Tidal will release a Prince album compiled from unreleased music taken from the legend’s vault including music he recently worked on before his untimely passing. The album which is still in the early stages of its inception is scheduled to drop in 2019.

#RIP PRINCE!
