Watch Robin Thicke’s Interview and Performance on NBC Show STEVE
Diamond selling, 5x Grammy-nominated recording artist, actor and entertainer, Robin Thicke, returned to daytime television with a full sit-down interview and performance of his brand new chart-topping single “That’s What Love Can Do” on NBC nationally syndicated talk show, STEVE, hosted by Steve Harvey. Serenading a live audience with delicate vocals, an intimate piano arrangement and backed by a 6-piece band, this marks Thicke’s first appearance on daytime television since 2017 and sets the tone for his forthcoming eighth studio album. Ahead of his performance, Robin sat with Steve to discuss all things new music, fatherhood, the passing of his father Alan Thicke and his journey to home rebuilding since the 2018 California wildfires.
Watch Robin Thicke’s performance below.
“That’s What Love Can Do,” a light, slow-tempo melodic ode to the power of love was released on March 8th, 2019 and breaks into the top 20, sitting at #16 on the Billboard Urban Adult Chart – a telling sign that Thicke is sure to heat up the airwaves this year with the release of new music. “That’s What Love Can Do” is produced by Robin Thicke and Pro Jay, following the December 2018 single release of “Testify” – Robin’s first musical release since 2016.
Both new singles act as set ups for Robin Thicke’s forthcoming album via Thicke Music/Empire.
Robin has also taken his talents to television starring as a guest panelist on the new FOX show “The Masked Singer,” which has become a ratings hit and picked up for an additional season.
