Wendy Williams Announces Show Hiatus Due to Graves Disease – Details Here!
Wendy Williams announced today during her show that she will be taking a few weeks off from her show to be treated for Graves’ Disease. The disease is known for causing the body to produce too much thyroid hormone which regulates the body’s metabolism. According to the Mayo Clinic, When the body produces too much thyroid hormones, it can cause heart palpitations and tremors, which can make a person anxious, irritable and shaky.
Wendy told her audience, “I feel like there are birds flying around my head. It’s like I’m constantly high — but I’m not high!”
So while Wendy Williams is going through treatment, her The Wendy Williams Show we’re told will be airing repeats during the hiatus.
