Wyclef Teams Up with Netflix for New Animation Series Featuring His Childhood In Haiti – Details Here!
Wyclef Jean of The Fugees fame and film producer Greg Silverman have teamed up to create a new animated series for Netflix. The new series which will be created for children is based on Wyclef’s childhood in Haiti. The series’ goal is to inspire children from the slums all around the world to never stop dreaming.
“I grew up in extreme poverty but I was rich with imagination,” Wyclef states. “Now to see that imagination turn into reality with Netflix and my producing partners makes me want to tell the kids from the slums around the world to never stop dreaming.”
The upcoming Netflix series will be written by Justin Marks, whose previous credits include, “The Jungle Book” and “Top Gun: Maverick”. The production date for the series, its official title and its release schedule is not yet available. We’ll keep you posted as more information is available.
