Kanye West Starts Healing Process After Open Letter From Dr. Jan Adams – Letter + Details Here!

Kanye West recently announced that he was considering using Dr. Adams’s photo as the cover for his upcoming new album which is not yet titled. Dr. Jan is the surgeon who performed plastic surgery on Ms. West from which she passed away a day later from heart complications. Kanye felt the cover and its symbolism would begin his process of forgiveness.

As we approach Mothers Day, you can imagine this time of the year must be one of the hardest for Kanye especially as he starts to seek the ability to forgive the man he holds responsible for his mothers death. After his post on social media about using Dr. Adams photo for his album, something profound happened which cause the surgeon, who may have also been seeking the opportunity to heal from such a regrettable situation, to reach out to Kanye West in an open letter.

The letter which in some aspect is stern and in other aspects seem to seek the truth and understanding from the tragic incident. Dr. Adams writes, “I ask that you cease and desist using my photo or any image of me to promote your album or any of your work.” In another portion of the letter, he expresses, “with true love comes intellectual honesty.”

In another portion he tries to correct his thoughts on what happened, “Perhaps you should put your cousin’s picture on your next album. Don’t put my picture out there and claim you are about love. Love deals with the truth.” This is in relations to Kanye West’s cousin Stephan Scoggins who was the primary caregiver for Ms. West.

Checkout Kanye’s post of the letter below in which he captioned, “Open letter from Jan Adams. This is amazing. Thank you so much for this connection brother. I can’t wait to sit with you and start healing.
