Stan Lee Postpones Comic Con FanX™17 Appearance Due to Health Concerns

Today Salt Lake Comic Con announced that Stan Lee is postponing his appearance at FanXperience 2017 (FanX™) due to health issues. Lee was scheduled to make his third and final visit at Salt Lake Comic Con FanX17. In 2015 he called Salt Lake Comic Con the “greatest comic con in the world.”

“While we’re saddened that Stan can’t make it to FanX, our first concern is and always will be his health and wellbeing,” said Dan Farr, Salt Lake Comic Con Founder and Show Producer. “We know Stan was excited about his final visit to Salt Lake Comic Con, and is disheartened himself that his health is preventing him from coming, with what was announced as his last visit to Salt Lake City. Our hope is that his health will improve and he’ll be able to make his final visit to Salt Lake Comic Con for our fall event.”

FanX 2017 still features one of Salt Lake Comic Con’s strongest lineups of celebrities, artists, authors and comicbook creators, including Zachary Levi, Danielle Panabaker, Jason Momoa, Cary Elwes, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Bonnie Wright, James Roday, Dulé Hill, Michael Cuzlitz and Judge Reinhold.
