T.I. Questions Cop Over His Arrest In Video Footage From Jail – Watch Video Here!
T.I. was reportedly arrested Wednesday morning outside his gated community and hit with misdemeanor charges for alleged disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. The officials were reportedly called because the star and a security guard were allegedly arguing about granting him access into the gated community without his keys.
After T.I.’s arrest he continued to question the officials regarding their reasons for arresting him when he was just trying to get into the home he paid millions for. A video recorded of T.I. in custody was obtained by TMZ which shows a portion of the incident. In the video the star is seen questioning the officials and requesting answers.
Regarding the arrest, his attorney Steve Sadow stated, “T.I. was wrongfully arrested early this morning when he attempted to gain entrance into his gated community — where his wife ‘Tiny’ and his family reside. The guard continued to refuse entry without justification,” the lawyer’s statement said. “Words were exchanged and apparently the guard and/or a supervisor called the police. When the police arrived, they were not interested in hearing Tip’s side of the story and wrongfully chose to end the situation by arresting Tip.”
T.I. was released hours later, but there is not word yet on the future of this matter. Check out the jail house clip below.
