Will Smith and Diplo are gearing up to release their collaborative song for the upcoming 2018 Soccer World Cup. Will Smith took to social media and confirmed he’s been working on the song with Diplo in a post captioned, “@nickyjampr @Diplo @strefie @WillSmith – One Life to Live. Live it Up. #WorldCup.” The song will be the first time in twenty years or more since Will Smith has picked up the mic and laid down his vocals for a record.
The song which is produced by Nicky Jam and Will Smith was recorded in Budapest, Hungary last week and is scheduled to drop this Friday. The FIFA tournament is scheduled to begin in Russia on June 14th and ends on July 15th. The official World Cup song is usually performed live during the closing ceremony of the games, so look for Will Smith and Diplo to hit the stage on that date.
